Each day I'm inspired by something or someone..people alone are a very interesting species with or without the "fashion.." There's beauty in everything..it's a matter of being open to what surrounds us (imo.)
On my mind today..
I've become so obssesed with streetstyle fur that I now find myself following these intriguing women around supermarkets and sidewalks just to get a snap..I kinda feel like a creep but their beauty must be captured..lol..eventually I will gather enough hutz-pah and ask them for a shot :-)

I know is been ages, but here I am in Chelsea celebrating the launch of the collaboration between Rex Ray and B + N Industries. This was a very cool exhibition in which B+N showed a limited edition of 12 surfboards created by Rex Ray and hand shaped by Cordell Miller, who is often referred to as one of the best surfers/shapers in the world. All the sales will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief to aid those affected by Superstorm Sandy.
The bartenders were all wearing chic glasses by Ray Bans with white shirts and black ties.
This girl was the highlight of the exhibition as she was wearing this chic McQueen blush pink feather dress and Christian Louboutin Crystal Pigale heels.
I was wearing a Bisono Cashmere sweater, Michael Kors Leather Jacket at the Rick Owens style, Zara pants with gold metallic zippers and my favorite Azzedine Alaia Boots I got at Barneys with Gisela, Wang bag, and jewery from Zara and Club Monaco.
Been seeing plenty of stylish girls sporting trainers 'round here (UK :-) Can't say I own a pair of athletic sneakers and if I do, they're a pair of Champions, circa 2005, brand new...does anyone really own a pair?? lol.. revamping this brand would be such a cool challege, especially after seeing this..
The winter issue of Company Magazine's "Street Style" edition has an edgy/quirky editorial featuring trainers...
The inpsirational images below have made sneaker buying not only fun but quite liberating..a trend that's comfortable, practical and affordable?? I'm down like a clown.
Here's a shot by www.carolinesmode.com of Coppenhagen's Another Nue window..dope..
..lest not we forget, and be thankful for the pioneering efforts of Wonderland fashion editor, Julia-Sarr Jamois, for being one of the first to break the high heeled barriers of fashion :-)
..I've searched central Edinburgh for them to no avail..I guess online purchase is the last resort, wish me luck!!
good night! Gisela

Instagram is so dope! ..Its my mini-fashion-bible! Perfect way to keep my finger on the pulse, especially being a mom on the go. Literally, I can change diapers and instagram simutaneously, its that accessible! lool! (jk)
Back to biz..last night I posted about my inspiration for the enchanting holiday party next week. Although I have in my possession key components for that fur/maxi dress look.. I totally got sold on this pair of gold sequined leggings from www.internacionale.co.uk !!!!
Feeling like a rock star goddess in these bad boys!! H&M belt.
Inspiration: Loving model Jessica Hart in her Isabel Marant fur and pants! You best believe mama's gonna dig for that Topshop black monkey fur and strap on those Isabel Marant Gava's for a night when I get back to NY :-D
Gold sequin leggings it is for the partay! and perhaps I will accessorize with this colorful, pop-art, Phillip Lim-inspired, "Zap" clutch from???? You guessed it! Internacionale..on sale ;-)
Why the sad face? well..hubby booked a nanny so we can go the company holiday party!!..I'm beyond excited since I haven't seen the nightlife in about 2 months :-) but I GOT NOTHING TO WEAR! Literally...everything fab is NY..
So what's a recessionista to do? Look through whatever I currently have and see what I can make fab...stay tuned, it's gonna take a miracle.
Finally have time to post again! The three babies are growing and are definiely a handful.. So much to share yet so little time..We are back in Edinburgh again, this time its the whole family and seems that we are here for quite some time.. happy and grateful for the experience..
So back to what's important, fashion! lol..Seems to me that everytime I walk into an H&M, Zara, Forever21 or Topshop, my initial feelinging is one of being overwhelmed by so much merch! Most of the time I spend in stores is deciding on things and trying on things and at this point in my life there's no time for that..So why is it that I visit River Island today and immediately I spot everything I want and then some, and at unbelievably reasonable prices..hence this incredibly made Isabel Marant knock off denim shirt came home with me today..Had to get it for $35 USD!
I also came across this sick pleather skater skirt! There are so many out there, I even own a real leather one myself but it's nowhere nearly as well structured as this beauty I found at Internacionale (www.internacionale.co.uk) will post more guys, maybe even daily, lool!
Wanted to thank Hannah Saleh for this pic and feature on Essence.com and also thank www.sheknows.com, the mommy-oriented site, for the awesome feature too! Shout out to socialbliss.com for the last pic:-) xoxo
